Day 1 - 2
Arrival Day and Explore Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! After arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your safari guide will take you to your hotel in Arusha to relax and unwind. Here you will meet all your fellow travelers for an opening dinner together.

Day 3
Tarangire Safari: Home of the Elephants
Leave Arusha behind and head into Tarangire National Park, home to sprawling baobab trees and incredible wildlife. This national park is the home of the elephants. Take in the sounds and sights of the African bush before heading to your lodge in Karatu.

Day 4
Serengeti Adventure: The Big 5
Begin your day in the farming village of Mto Wa Mbu, where you'll meet the incredible women of Solar Sister. Learn how they're bringing clean energy to rural communities across Tanzania by helping distribute solar lights to local families.
From there, travel into the Southern Serengeti, home to some of Africa's most extraordinary wildlife.

Day 5
Southern Serengeti: Migration Magic
Wake up and start your safari drive, keep your eyes peeled for the Big Five: including lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and Cape buffalo. Spend a full day exploring the Ndutu Plains of the Southern Serengeti, one of the most remarkable places to witness the Great Migration. During calving season, thousands of wildebeest give birth experiencing one of nature's extraordinary cycles of life.

Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater rim for an once-in-a-lifeitme game drive. In this conservation area and UNESCO World Heritage Site get a front row seat to unique wildlife, from black rhinos and lions, cheetahs, to elephants.

Day 7
West Kilimanjaro, Maasai Sundowner
Spend the day immersed in Maasai culture or simply relax and enjoy the beauty of this magical place. Take a morning nature walk through Maasailand, try your hand at spear-throwing, and end the evening with storytelling around the campfire. You’ll also have the chance to visit Africa Amini Alama’s schools and see the inspiring impact this project has on the community.

Day 8
West Kilimanjaro, Maasai Experiences
Settle into the Maasai Lodge and take it all in. Learn the art of traditional spear throwing, enjoy sundowners as the sun sets, and spend the evening slowing down. This is your time to unwind, reflect, and soak in the magic of Tanzania.

Day 9
Farewell, Tanzania!
After one last slow morning together, we'll say our goodbyes to the landscapes, wildlife, and memories we've shared over the past week. Our team will transfer you to the airport for your journey home, carrying a little piece of Tanzania with you home.
Who you will meet
Meet Robert, born and raised in Tanzania, our only male guide in our entire TWWU collection, because he’s family. He knows his country like the back of his hand and truly cares.
Following his passion for wildlife, Rob studied Wildlife Management and Ecology and for 20+ years has worked as a guide and sharing his love and passion for his country. He’s also deeply knowledgeable on conservation, sustainability, and wildlife facts and loves meeting guests from all over the world.

Our Impact
We will proudly work with Solar Sister, Wine to Water and Shanga
Solar Sister empowers women in underserved African communities to build their own clean-energy businesses. To date, over 10,000 women entrepreneurs have brought renewable energy to 4.3 million people, generating income, boosting household health, and reducing carbon emissions across the region.
Ourimpact: We purchase and distribute solar lights through our Tanzania trips, we’ve proudly distributed over 500+ solar lights since 2021.
Together with Wine To Water East Africa, we help bring clean, reliable water to communities through ceramic filters, wells, and school water systems. This effort has reached over 137,000 lives, delivered 4,000+ filters, established 660+ hand-washing stations, and improved water access in 51 schools—freeing up time for women and kids, improving health, and empowering local growth.
Our impact: We purchased and distributed water filtration systems en route to the Serengeti.
Shanga is a thriving social enterprise in Arusha that employs people with disabilities to create beautiful handcrafted jewelry, glassware, and homewares from recycled materials. This inclusive initiative has grown since 2007 to become a creative hub that empowers artisans, supports families, and reinvests all profits into expanding opportunities.
Our impact: Every itinerary includes a stop here to support the local artisans and purchase souvenirs.

Yes—with one special exception. While this is a women-only group experience, our local safari guide, Robert, will be leading the journey. Born and raised in Tanzania, Robert has over 20 years of experience and is a trusted member of The World Within Us family. His knowledge, kindness, and passion for Tanzania create an experience that simply wouldn't be the same without him.
Many of our past travelers say Robert quickly feels less like a guide and more like a friend, making every game drive and cultural experience even more memorable.
